Working with Jen has honestly been life changing for both me and my Doberman, Roman. Roman came from a difficult background and struggled with anxiety, reactivity, and overstimulation. He's super smart & has very high drive. I was comfortable with obedience and basic commands, but I was overwhelmed and didn't know how to help him succeed. Jen immediately brought a calm confidence that Roman responded to. She had no fear around him, understood how to engage with him, and quickly started helping him work through his reactivity, anxiety, impulse control, and socialization. He's already MUCH calmer and can better regulate himself. The best part is how much Roman loves her. She's become his favorite and most fun person to be around. I HIGHLY recommend working with Jen, especially if you have a dog with behavioral or reactivity issues - she's amazing!
We really enjoyed having Tim from Wagging Rights as our dog trainer! He came to our house, was clear with his expectations, and demonstrated excellent training that has caused significant improvement with our dog. Definitely would recommend wagging rights to any friend or family member!
Jen with Wagging Rights is absolutely amazing! We got our dog Smalls as a 10 week old puppy. He was everything we hoped for until he wasn't. At 2 he wouldn't let anyone in the house that wasn't family, lunged at people and other dogs on walks, and would lose his mind at people and dogs walking by the house. We are the people with "that dog". 2 years later I'm sitting at the table crying and looking for a trainer to help while weighing the options that he may have to be medicated or euthanized if training doesn't work. Everyone who claimed to take dogs with "behavior issues" never called or e mailed back. I received a text from Jen saying "I'd love to work with your dog". I spoke with her over the phone and was very impressed with the knowledge she had ,the information she provided, and the fact that she was actually willing to meet with my dog (now nicknamed "You're Killin' Me, Smalls"). After our FIRST LESSON we were both given tools and homework that helped immensely. We just finished our fourth lesson and it feels like I have a new dog. Smalls listens, settles himself down, and is a much easier dog to handle on walks; he even redirected with a wagging tail while facing something that triggers unwanted behavior. Jen has been amazing and helpful to us and to Smalls. My family is immensely thankful for her and she really saved Smalls life ❤️
We did a 10 training sessions package with Tim for our 6 year old beagle. We saw a massive improvement in our dog’s behavior. We plan to do random sessions moving forward as well, as needed. Training is tailored to your dog and their needs, in the privacy of your own home. Tim was personable, on time to every session, and flexible. Would highly recommend.
Working with Tim has been wonderful. One of his biggest attributes is patience. He also explains the “why” for everything he teaches you. From basic collar, slip collar to E collar, he explains the how to, the why and puts in the science when applicable. We started with a very stubborn dog. We are now able to walk her and have her follow commands. I would highly recommend Tim to anyone from those with dog experience to those with none. Well done Tim
Tim is very knowledgeable and calm when it comes to dog training. He really knows what he’s doing with all types of breeds and dog personalities. He’s talkative, which is nice as a lot of dog training is repetition. My pup is happy, much better on walks, and calmer with visitors; all of our goals were met.
We really appreciated Tim’s work with our GSD puppy; although we didn’t start til he was 5 months old. Note to others: start sooner if you can, and make the time every day to reinforce the lessons. 😃 Tim is very knowledgeable about dog training and gave us good insights into tools that we were hesitant to use. He is also patient - with both dogs and owners. He gave us a great foundation to continue building upon with our newest family member. We highly recommend Wagging Rights.
Tim made the transition from a one-dog household to a two-dog household seamless by equipping us with the tools we needed to keep the peace and ensure our older dog remained a priority, while also making the puppy feel welcome and safe.
