Great location right off the freeway and plenty of parking. Chris is attentive and asks about problem areas. He got to work and it is no joke that he worked deep where I needed it most. Communication during the massage was great to ensure a comfortable experience. Rather than just a relaxing massage, I feel Chris' bodywork provides functional improvement for my problem spots.

i cant rave enough about my experience with chris. so far ive done 90 minutes on the lower half of my body and 90 minutes on the upper half of my body. if you think you are destined to live in pain forever like i did, youre wrong! the years of wear and tear melted away as chris reminded my body how it started and how it should be. s bodywork by chris is now part of my nom-negotiable self-care routine. i cant recommend him enough!

The best deep tissue message I’ve ever had. He goes deep! If you can’t handle pain this is not for you, but for people who are never satisfied after a message come see for yourself at Sbody by Chris.

I had to go through quite a few chiropractors, massage therapists, and acupuncturists before finding someone like Chris. I originally stumbled on his services through finding the term Rolfing, but Chris will be quick to point out that he performs "structural integration," not Rolfing. From what I've read and what he's explained, Rolfing is a lot more linear in it's treatment progression, meaning that if you're going in with shoulder pain, the standard Rolfing treatment might not start in your problem area. Chris explained to me that that is why he finds structural integration to be more flexible-he targets the problem areas and also the surrounding tissues/fascia. Strict definitions aside, Chris delivers every single time. He is the only person I consider going to for routine tune-ups (after having visited all the specialists up above). Here's why: -Structural integration is NOT massage therapy. Chris is about 200-250lbs of muscle and he applies that strength to you for your whole session. But don't picture your standard 130-150lb masseuse using their pointy elbows to pulverize your knots, that's not what he does. Structural integration involves broad, DEEP sweeping motions to realign/reposition/relax the fascia surrounding muscles. I feel that with massage therapy, you get about 50-60% of real, applied force over your treatment period. With Chris, it's about 90%. And it's only 90% because I ask Chris a million questions about music composition (he's a flutist who is also a composer!) and musculature during my sessions. -I think for some, misalignments and impingements need realignment with a chiropractor, but for me personally, cracking my neck, back, etc, doesn't ever really solve *my* problems. If that type of care hasn't solved your problems either, consider Chris. -Acupuncture definitely still has its place when you have a knot that just can't be broken down, or if you have a tight muscle in a really unusual area. Lastly, some things to know: -Chris is technical about what he does, but he's generally pretty quiet. He's not a chatty Kathy, but I still bug him with a million questions anyway =p -He doesn't respond to texts that quickly. When it's not a work day, I'm not convinced he ever checks his texts. But when you meet him, you'll kind of get it. He's a pretty singular-focus kind of guy and composing is his main focus when he's not sweeping across your muscles.

I’ve been seeing Chris for nearly a year, and his work has been a game-changer. Thanks to his care, I’ve been able to run marathons, half marathons, fun runs, and log endless miles on the trails. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about the body and approaches you thoughtfully—not just as a client, but as a functional, whole human and athlete. Every session feels purposeful, and the results speak for themselves.

Seriously the BEST medical massage therapist I've ever hired! Chris is highly trained and this is the type of massage that heals your body. I have never felt as much relief from my pain from anyone but Chris. I'm super grateful to have found him. If you have a work injury and need a massage therapist to heal your body, give him a chance. He's worth the drive! I drove 40 minutes each way for his services and he kept me being able to do my job as a court stenographer. Thank you! 5-star review!!!!

Great massage. Left me feeling great! The best I have felt in a very long time. Chris is unique in the way he does massage, I think. I have never had a massage quite like this before. He really knew how to get in there and work the muscles and body. The thing I noticed most was my drive back home that day. I was not in pain! Not at all. I didn’t realize how much pain I was in until I had none. Driving in traffic didn’t bother me one bit. I was so relieved and relaxed to the point I cried. I did not have pain! For the first time in over 5 yrs. I felt normal. I will definitely be returning to Chris. I highly recommend Chris for your next massage. Just try it. You won’t regret it. Thank you Chris

Did you know that about 1/4 of people who are diagnosed with MDD (major depressive disorder) could experience joint inflammation? I happen to fall into that category. I tried a little massage spot in the shopping mall but felt the massage was a too superficial for my personal needs. I needed more. I explained to Chris my needs and wooo did he understand the assignment!? Chris methodically pushed from my armpit all the way down my arm and out my fingers. Really kneading the stiffness out of each of my limbs, back and torso. This is the real deal massage. Chris gets in there. I truly felt relief after seeing him. Choose the 90 minute cause 60 minutes flies by quick.

Chris is a lifesaver. I've had significant improvements to my quality of life coming here. I'm someone with a very active lifestyle who works sitting down a lot so I'll tweak things here and there. For the 2 years I've seen Chris I've had night and day differences after getting treatment. Even when not dealing with any nagging issues I'll sometimes come in to just get recalibrated. It's not a "massage place" as one might think, this is legit physical therapy which may feel uncomfortable at times, but the body needs this kind of treatment to get better. Chris is also very knowledgeable and has shared insights into the body. He's very professional and courteous, great guy. I highly encourage one to get treated here, as it made significant improvements in my overall quality of life.

Chris is very professional and amazing at what he does! You can tell he is very passionate about actually helping his clients achieve maximum relief. I have always had pain in my upper back and I can finally say I feel like a new person. Just one thing to note - he specializes in structural body work so the sessions can be intense but so worth it!! If you want to be freed of your sore muscles and pain....go to Chris!

Good credentials, professional facility, knowledgeable and friendly. The next morning I was 5 lbs lighter (not sure why, I'm still 3 lbs down). Chris works with vigor.

I have been coming to Chris for a little over 5 years and he is the best person you can possibly visit for any body work needs. He pays very close attention to detail to get to the bottom of your issues, and takes an active approach at fixing the problem. He has many years experience and obvious mastery of his craft. Chris makes you feel comfortable, relaxed, and at ease and thoroughly focuses on any problem areas. He specializes in releasing the fascia that so often binds tissues into these unfavorable positions and leads to chronic pain. By using methodical movements and positions, Chris is able to sink deep and release any tightness or bind. As a student, I spend alot of time hunched over my desk, causing me tightness in my shoulders and back. After my first visit with him, my shoulders and chest opened up, fixing my posture and helping my lifts in the gym. There is utility in his treatments for people through all walks of life, and I give all my friends and family my highest recommendation to pay him a visit. You will be in shock what one session can accomplish.

I came to Chris to help me with a pinched nerve on my right hand which was causing numbness, pins and needles, burning and tingling sensation. After the first session I was so impressed with the results that I purchased a 4 session package and always looking forward to my massage session. Chris is not only an amazing structural massage therapist but also very knowledgeable about all the joints ligaments bones etc. That’s why I totally trust him and feel safe to do this incredibly effective structural massage. I highly recommend everyone to have this massage by Chris. Thank you very much Chris for helping me. Looking forward to my next session.

What a relief! I have bursitis in my hips and Chris has dug deeply into the tissue around my hips and helped to alleviate most of the pain. I started with him on a Groupon and have become a regular client. Chris is a true healer. He has also worked on the muscles around my shoulders and wrung out the knots. I cannot recommend him too highly. A very swwet and gentle man.

I can't even express how incredible Chris is! Yesterday I was crying in an urgent care! It took me 10 minutes to wiggle out of bed super carefully this morning. It was almost impossible to put socks and shoes on. I didn't even put socks on! I went in walking super slow. 90 minutes with Chris and I got off the table with minimal wiggling! I can walk normally! I got in my car without any issue! I'm still stiff and I still have pain but I finally got real relief! After 3 doctors and 2 massage therapists with little to no improvement today was a HUGE success! I bought 4 more massages on the spot. I really think a few sessions with him and I'll be good as new! I'm recommending him to all my co workers! If you're a healthcare worker in these crazy times go see Chris. He also disinfected everything in front of me and used hand sanitizer before he started. This was hands down the best body work I've ever had done.

Just what I needed . This is definitely a body work. This goes beyond deep tissue to really get to the issue of the tension. 90 minutes went by so quickly. I highly recommend. My neck never felt so much relief. Will continue to visit
